Everyday dentistry, coordinated with your implant plan.
Not every visit is about implants. We also handle the cleanings, fillings, and crowns that keep the rest of your smile healthy — especially the teeth working alongside a new implant or arch.
Crowns & fillings, as part of the plan
Restorative care that fits around implant treatment.
Many implant and All‑on‑X patients also need a crown on a stressed molar or a filling on a neighboring tooth. We handle that supporting work in the same practice, on the same timeline, so it's one coordinated plan instead of a referral to somewhere new.
- Tooth-colored fillings, same-visit in most cases
- Crowns to protect teeth adjacent to an implant site
- Scheduling coordinated with your implant plan
When a tooth can't be saved
A careful extraction, planned with what comes next in mind.
Sometimes decay, a fracture, or infection goes past the point a filling or crown can fix. When a tooth has to come out, we take care to protect the surrounding bone and gum tissue during removal — especially when an implant is part of your longer-term plan. In some cases, a small graft is placed in the socket right away to help preserve the bone while it heals.
- Gentle technique that protects the surrounding bone
- Socket preservation grafting available when appropriate
- Coordinated with implant planning when relevant
Third molars, removed by Dr. Wongk
Removed before they cause a bigger problem.
Wisdom teeth don't always hurt before they cause trouble. An impacted or crowded third molar can quietly put pressure on the tooth next to it long before you feel anything. Dr. Wongk checks positioning with imaging and performs the extraction himself when it will spare you a more complicated situation down the road — not just when you're already in pain.
- Evaluated with imaging, not guesswork
- Performed in-house by Dr. Wongk
- Protects neighboring molars from pressure and decay
Broken tooth, lost filling, sudden pain
Same-day care when you can't wait for an appointment.
Dental emergencies don't wait for a convenient time. If you're dealing with a broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, or pain that came on suddenly, call us first — we hold space in the schedule for urgent same-day visits rather than making you wait a week to be seen.
- Call ahead and we'll work you in the same day when possible
- Pain relief and stabilization come first, full treatment planning after
- Coordinated with implant or restorative care if that's the next step
The rest of your everyday dental care.
Rounding out a whole-mouth approach, so implant and non-implant care both happen under one roof.
Cleanings & Exams
Routine hygiene visits and comprehensive exams to catch small problems before they become implant-level problems.
Digital X-Rays
Low-radiation digital imaging that also feeds directly into implant treatment planning when needed.
Periodontal Care
Healthy gums are the foundation implants depend on — we monitor and treat gum health at every visit.
Anxiety-Reducing Oral Sedation
The same comfort-first sedation menu available for implant procedures is available for general treatment too.
Extractions and everyday care, explained plainly.
Pain or pressure at the back of the jaw is the obvious sign, but wisdom teeth can also cause problems with no symptoms at all. Imaging is the only reliable way to know what's happening beneath the surface.
A tooth is impacted when it can't fully break through the gumline, usually because there isn't enough space or it's angled against a neighboring tooth. Partially impacted teeth are especially prone to infection since bacteria can collect in the gap.
Often, yes — sometimes the same day if the site is healthy, sometimes after a healing period if grafting is recommended first. We map out the timeline at your consult so there are no surprises. See Implant Dentistry for more.
