The people and the purpose behind the practice.

Dr. Wongk performed his very first dental procedure over 13 years ago, and he has loved this profession — and the people it lets him serve — ever since.

A graduate of Houston County High School in Middle Georgia, Dr. Wongk went on to live in various states throughout his education, seeking out the best possible training at every step. He earned his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, then pursued advanced training in general dentistry with a strong focus on implant dentistry at NYU Langone. He is currently working toward his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), continually deepening his skill so patients can trust they're getting thoughtful, up-to-date care.

It's this outlook that shapes his approach to implant dentistry: not as a last resort, but as a genuine opportunity to give patients back their confidence, their comfort, and their smile. He takes the time to understand each patient's story before recommending a plan, favoring comprehensive, whole-mouth care over quick fixes.

Beyond his own patients, Dr. Wongk is passionate about raising the standard of care across the profession. He has mentored fellow dentists both in the clinical aspects of placing implants and in treatment planning complex cases, sharing his knowledge so other doctors — and their patients — can benefit from it too.

Outside the office, Dr. Wongk finds his own sense of balance on two wheels, riding with various road cycling groups throughout Suwanee and the greater Atlanta area. A lifelong love of adventure, journey, and pushing himself to be better first drew him to the sport — and that same spirit carries into everything he does, both in and out of the practice.

Rosignol, Guyana: care that walks to the people who need it.

Not every act of care happens inside our office. In Rosignol Village, Guyana, Dr. Wongk and Gwinnett Dental Studio help support the Walking Vacation Bible School — a program built on a simple idea: when children can't get to the church, the church goes to them.

The idea began with Ms. Wendy, a local leader in Rosignol who saw children in her village missing out on more than she could count — not for lack of wanting to be there, but simply because getting to a physical church building wasn't possible for every family. Her answer was to bring the program directly into the neighborhoods that needed it most.

For one week each year, Ms. Wendy and her team walk the streets of Rosignol, bringing Bible school straight to the children who live there — serving just over 60 kids a day, with snacks, activity sheets, and small keepsakes like the wristbands pictured above. In August 2026, that idea became the first annual Walking Vacation Bible School, held in partnership with Koinonia Seventh‑day Adventist Church: a full week of meals, lessons, and encouragement for children who might otherwise go without either, in a world that doesn't always make either easy to come by.

Dr. Wongk and other supporters helped fund the program's first year — proof that reaching people well sometimes means reaching further than your own front door.
